We are Kendall &
Tracy Gaddis of Henderson, KY. We have a beautiful baby girl now, but for the 13 years we were married before she came
along, our three adorable Shih Tzus were our children.
We share a great passion for dogs and animals of all kinds.
In 2008, sadly, our groomer passed
away. I decided to learn to groom our babies myself. I watched some how-to's on the Internet, talked with
some other groomers, and began practicing on our dogs. Soon, I realized how much I enjoyed what I was doing. Never
before had I found a task that I enjoyed so much and was actually able to slow down and get in a zone. I decided to
purchase some better tools, and realized I was better at this than I thought! (tools do make a difference). I ordered
an online course to learn more and before I knew it, I was building a client base!
We began a Mobile Grooming business in November
2008. It was successful almost immediately! We enjoyed it very much and our customers loved it too! We continued
to get requests for in shop grooming - and lower prices, (Henderson was short on Groomers) so in July 2009 we opened our shop
on Yeaman Ave. Since opening our shop, many of our mobile clients have converted to our in shop grooming. While
we are proud to be growing in the shop, and we continue to grow with new customers every day, we realized that we could not
continue the Mobile portion of our business. Some of our loyal Mobile Customers are very disappointed, and we are truly
sorry for that. We are sad to see it go, but financially, it just doesn't make sense any longer.
We
have received most of our business through word of mouth...and we are very grateful to our happy clients, most of the vets
in town and the other local groomers. We come highly recommended...so schedule your appointment with confidence!
